Completed for the Hills Shire Council, this rose garden is regarded as one of the largest of its kind in the region, covering over 8000m2 within AH Whaling Memorial Reserve, Baulkham Hills, NSW.
This project took 15 months to build during the COVID-19 pandemic, and included the transplantation of approximately 950 existing roses plus the planting of 1100 new roses, over 2600m2 of coloured concrete, over 2600Lm of steel edging and 180Lm of concrete edging, 780m2 of asphalt, and 3950m2 of sugar cane mulch. A fantastic effort by the Asset Landscapes team under challenging circumstances including 3 months of heavy rainfall.
